Easy Remedial Was engaged by Strata to address and rectify widespread concrete cancer present across balconies and slab edges. Our scope included removal of loose/drummy concrete, corrosion treatment to reinforcement and install of a high strength concrete repair mortar. This provided an extended structural life to the building. We then painted the areas to match the existing building to restore the appearance.

Several roof leaks were reported across multiple commercial tenancies. We identified the points of failure through our trusted leak detection methods, and a full rectification of the roof membrane system was the clear best option. We provided new falls to the outlets, upgrading flashings and installed a new fully complaint welded membrane system. A full flood test was completed afterwards ensuring long term water tight performance.

Brick Cracking was evident across various areas of the façade. Following the engineers recommendations, Easy Remedial used tried and tested brick stitching techniques to ensure cracks did not further progress. With the use of Helifix brick ties, we were able to structurally stabilise the façade walls. We also repointed and re tucked all joints and brickwork, essentially restoring the façade without a full replacement.

Addressed active water ingress which caused extensive concrete deterioration in the basement carpark. We used a crack injection system which plugged existing leaks and carried out the structural patch repairs and applied a protective coating. This ensures the basement remains dry, eliminates the formation of mould and provides a reduced long term maintenance risk.
